MEET DERRICK Y. CHU

CO-FOUNDER AND PARTNER

Mr. Chu has been practicing law for nearly a decade, with experience ranging from representing personal injury plaintiffs to general business litigation. Eventually he found his calling in Lemon Law defending auto manufacturers, channeling his passion of all things automotive. Mr. Chu has since handled hundreds of Lemon Law cases, has been involved in several jury trials to verdict, and participated in numerous mediations.

Mr. Chu co-founded ASDC with the goal of leveling the playing field for consumers against the largest corporations in the world. Armed with a wide breadth of legal experience and knowledge, Mr. Chu now works for the people. He personally handles all aspects of a case from start to finish, treating each as a potential trial candidate, while always searching for the most efficient path to maximize his clients’ recovery.

A Southern California native, Mr. Chu is a UC Irvine alum and obtained his law degree from Chapman University School of Law. A lifelong Lakers fan, Mr. Chu is also a classically-trained pianist.
